Pure Organic Peppermint Hydrolat/Water (Mentha Piperta) has clean lively scent which has a mellow pungency and an energising effect on the body ideal for individuals under pressure or feeling stressed. Peppermint has been used since antiquity to cleanse and its stimulating properties have a therapeutic effect on the skin helping to restore tone and a healthy colour.

All of Base Formula’s Hydrolats are ecologically produced and free from agro chemicals.

Professional Tips:-

Use Peppermint Water/Hydrolat to cleanse the face and hands when driving long distances to help maintain focus.

Add 2% Peppermint Water and 1% Lime essential oil to the Base formula Bath & Shower Gel base for an Anti-fatigue Shower Blend/Foam Bath

Add 2 tablespoonfuls of Peppermint Hydrolat to 2 tablespoonfuls of`grain alcohol (vodka) and add 6 drops of Geranium essential oil and 4 drops of Lavender essential oil for a natural Eau de Toilette (store in the fridge in a spray bottle and shake before use)

Add 4 teaspoonfuls of Peppermint Water to 4 tablespoonfuls of Base Formula Body Butter base. Add 6 drops of Benzoin essential oil and 6 drops of Spearmint essential oil. Blend well and use as a skin softening foot cream (use within 12 weeks).

Peppermint Water can be added to grain alcohol (vodka) at 60% plus 0.5% Lavender and 1% May Chang (the oil of tranquillity) for a therapeutic foot spray which helps to cool and soothe swelling ankles

Add 2 tablespoonfuls of Peppermint Hydrolat to the bath with 6 drops of Grapefruit essential oil and 3 drops of Frankincense essential oil for a fatigue beating home spa treatment to ease emotional or work pressure and stress.
