After Sports Bath Bombs
You will need:-
Bicarbonate Soda - 500g
Citric Acid - 250g
Natural Talcum Powder 80g
Seaweed Extract 20g
Poppy Seeds from a health store 5g
Witch Hazel approx 50ml
Food colouring (green)
Rosemary essential oil 1.5ml (37drops)
Peppermint essential oil 1.5ml (37 drops)
Lemon Eucalyptus 0.5ml (12 drops)
Moulds (silicon moulds recommended)
Method:-
Blend the dry ingredients together very thoroughly (use a sieve or a mixer). Add food colouring and essential oils into to the Witch Hazel and place in a spray bottle. Now, this is the difficult part. Spritz (with the spray bottle) the Witch Hazel onto your batch while stirring with the other hand. When your batch sticks together when squished, you need to start putting it in the moulds time is of the essence. If you wait too long, the mixture will get hard. If you spritz too much, the mixture will be too wet and grow and begin the fizzing reaction. Put the bombs in moulds wait a few minutes and tap them out. Let them air dry for 3 or 4 hours and you will have amazing bath bombs. The harder you pack the bath bombs, the more dense, heavy and durable bomb you will get.
