It is clean, clear, pure and odourless and is specifically designed to accept the addition of essential oils, fragrance oils and botanicals. Glycerine is a rich, natural moisturiser which cleanses the skin without drying or compromising the skin's natural, delicate pH balance. Our Melt and Pour soap formula is easy to use and ideal if you want to make your own skin nurturing aromatherapy soap. It produces a high quality, deeply moisturising soap that forms a luxurious lather.

Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Sodium Laurate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Chloride, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Pentasodium Pentetate, Tetrasodium Etidronate.

Basic Melt and Pour Soap Making Instructions

Treat the Melt and Pour Soap like chocolate and melt in a bain-marie or the microwave. If you choose the microwave, cover the bowl and melt slowly at a medium power. If you use a bain-marie, bring the water to the boil, add your melt and pour to the top dish. Check on the base periodically to see if it's melted.

Once the base has fully melted add your choice of essential oils or fragrance oils to a maximum of 1.5%. Stir gently until it is fully mixed.

To use colour, simply put in 1 drop of food colouring at a time to your melted base.

To add Aloe Vera add a maximum of 2% to the melted soap base.

To add botanicals add a maximum of 1% to the melted soap base.

Pour into moulds or bun cases.

You can sprinkle botanicals etc on the top if you wish.

Spray the top with grain alcohol (vodka) to get rid of any excess bubbles.

Leave to set and use once the soap is hard - which takes a few hours.
