Pure cold pressed Coconut Oil (Cocus nucifera) is solid at room temperature in its natural, unfractionated state. It is renowned for its distinctive odour and its therapeutic effects. Our Organic Coconut Oil has been refined (fractionated) to leave an unscented oil that is liquid at room temperature.

Fractionated Coconut is the closest substance to human sub-cutaneous fat and is more compatible with our skin than other vegetable oils. It is nutrient rich containing, Lauric Acid and Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and Vitamin E, which are all important for repairing, protecting and boosting the condition of your skin.

Coconut Oil is very light, easily absorbed and non-pore blocking and so is ideal for massage and general skincare. It is also great for adding gloss and shine to lacklustre hair.

It is a good oil to buy in bulk as it has a virtually unlimited shelf life.

Professional Tip: We do not recommend using Coconut Oil for deeper therapeutic sports massage due to its high levels of slippage.
