Base Formula are importers, exporters and analysers of essential oils and absolutes. We have been dedicated to supplying the professional aromatherapist world wide with top grade essential oils, cosmetic bases and aromatherapy sundries since 1996.

We employ many expert aromatherapists and complementary health specialists within our business. These include Jeni Broughton, who is our training academy's principle tutor and Joannah Metcalfe who runs a successful, private complementary health practice. Both Jeni and Joannah will be delighted to answer any of your aromatherapy or natural health questions so please do not hesitate to contact them for help or advice.

 Base Formula are registered members of the ATC (Aromatherapy Trade Council) - a Trade Association for the Aromatherapy Essential Oil Industry dedicated to seeing that its members abide by their strict codes of practice.
 
As members of the ATC, Base Formula are committed to consumer safety and responsible marketing, consistent high standards (essential oils must be of the purist quality) and providing accurate up-to-date information on our products. We are bound by the ATC's voluntary code of practice for safety, labelling and packaging and our oils are subject to a random testing and verification programme at independent laboratories. Base Formula also shares the ATC's ethical concerns regarding animal testing and the conservation of medicinal plants. Consequently Base Formula are recognised by the regulatory authorities as being responsible suppliers to the aromatherapy industry.
