Background:

Kirsty achieved her dream of living in the countryside in 2018, moving to Lincolnshire where she emerged herself in country life – keeping chicken, foraging, and spending as much time as possible outdoors with her dog, Robyn.

She already had a passion for holistic health, having used meditation, reiki, and crystals as way to help manage her own mental health and wellbeing. After moving to the country and having worked in the public sector for 17 years, she decided to retrain in aromatherapy and pursue a career that combined her love of nature, holistic healing and helping others.

Current position:

Kirsty currently runs her own successful mobile aromatherapy massage business in Lincolnshire, bringing the wonderful plant power of essential oils into the comfort of her clients’ own homes.

She has also launched her own aromatherapy brand, Sage and Bellflower, which offers a range of beautifully scented handmade aromatherapy products to support health and wellbeing.

In addition to this Kirsty offers a selection of aromatherapy-based workshops for both personal and corporate clients.

Achievements:

After qualifying in aromatherapy Kirsty continued her personal development with specialist courses in Aromatherapy for Mental Health and Wellbeing, Aromatherapy for Hormones, and Menopause and Essential Oils.

She has written articles for The FHT’s International Therapist Magazine and has recently started to write for Base Formula’s blog.

She has also been organising a variety of aromatherapy and foraging workshops for NAViGO, an award-winning social enterprise that provides mental health services across Northeast Lincolnshire.

Other interests:

Kirsty loves her country life. Her and her husband have dogs, chickens and grow lots of flowers, vegetables, and herbs. They are also beekeepers, producing and selling their own natural, fragrant, Lincolnshire honey. As an aromatherapist, she also uses the beeswax in some of her natural aromatherapy products. Kirsty and her husband are in the process of expanding the apiary and plan to offer other bee and nature lovers the chance to adopt a hive!
