Our Peppermint Hydrolat is natural botanical water that is produced by steam distilling fresh peppermint leaves.

Like Peppermint essential oil Peppermint Hydrolat is known for its refreshing, cooling, and revitalizing properties that can benefit mind, body and skin.

It makes an excellent daily facial toner or facial mist that will leave normal, combination and oily skin feeling naturally hydrated, clean and refreshed.

It can be used after exercise or in summer as a cooling body spray and after sun spritz to soothe and refresh over exposed or irritated skin. It is also ideal for soothing hot flushes and revitalizing heavy legs and tired feet.

Its crisp, clean, stimulating scent can help to revitalize the mind and increase alertness, so it’s great to include in natural room fresheners, linen sprays and mood sprays, especially when you’re feeling tired, irritable and unfocused.

It can also be beneficial as a revitalizing scalp spray, helping to refresh the scalp in between washes and soothe irritation.

Peppermint Hydrolat is non-sensitizing and gentle enough to be applied directly to the skin or scalp without further dilution. It can be used alone or blended with other cosmetic ingredients and essential oils to make a variety of bespoke skin and hair care products and aromatherapy sprays.

Aqua, Mentha piperita

First Aid Spritz / Cool Compress

Spritz refrigerated Peppermint Hydrolat onto irritated skin or apply via a cool compress. Ideal for soothing itchy, inflamed, irritated skin problems such as bites, stings and heat rash.

Energy Boosting Body Mist

Mix 20 drops of Peppermint essential oil into 100ml of Peppermint Hydrolat. Shake well before use and mist around you.

Cleansing and Clearing Room Spray

Mix 15 drops Lemon essential oil, 10 drops Juniperberry and 5 drops Sage Dalmation into 100ml Peppermint Hydrolat. Shake well and spritz into room to cleanse and clear the space. Ideal to use prior to yoga and meditation or in your practice room between clients.

Natural Room Freshener

Mix 15 drops Peppermint essential oil, 10 drops Spearmint and 5 drops Geranium into 100ml Peppermint Hydrolat. Shake well before use and spray liberally around the room for a fresh, clean scent.

Cooling Foot Spray

Mix 5 drops each of Peppermint and Spearmint essential oils into 150ml of Peppermint Hydrolat. Shake well before use and spray onto hot, tired feet and legs.

After Sun Soother

Mix 15 drops Lavender essential oil, 10 drops Chamomile and 5 drops Spearmint with 150ml of Peppermint Hydrolat. Shake well and spray onto over-exposed or irritated skin.

Menopausal Hot Flush Spritz

Mix 15 drops Clary Sage essential oil, 10 drops Peppermint and 5 drops Geranium into 100ml of Peppermint Hydrolat and shake well. Spray over yourself whenever you’re in the midst of symptoms.
