Muscles Pure Essential Oil Blend (10ml)

This therapeutic blend is designed to warm, soothe, and relax the muscles after exercise, intense physical activity or over exertion. 

Grapefruit is thought to increase blood flow, reduce inflammation, and disperse lactic acid to help reduce pain and stiffness. It is also a natural energiser and mood booster.

Ginger helps to stimulate the circulation and has warming, analgesic, anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe muscular tension and pain. 

Plai has a similar action to Ginger and is one of the best essential oils for treating aches, pains, and inflammation. 

Black Pepper is another warming, stimulating oil that is beneficial for tired, aching muscles. 

Sweet Marjoram is a warming and comforting oil for body and mind and is particularly useful for relaxing tight, stiff muscles.

How to use our Muscles Pure Essential Oil blend

Bath: This is a lovely blend to use in the bath when feeling tired and achy. Mix 4-10 drops of oil into 15ml of Bath Oil and add to a warm bath. You could also mix the blended bath oil into a cup of Dead Sea Salt or Epsom Salt to further soothe aches and pains.

Massage: Dilute up to 4 drops per 10ml of carrier oil, lotion or cream and gently massage into the affected area in a direction towards the heart. We would particularly recommend blending into our Arnica Infusion or Trauma Infused Carrier Oil.

Hot or cold compress: Add 4-5 drops of oil to a bowl of hot or cold water then place a clean cloth in the water so that it can absorb the oil. Wring out excess water and place on the affected area. You can repeat the process when the compress reaches skin temperature.
